Selleys Liquid Nails is one of the toughest adhesives out there. To prove its sticking power to Aussies tradies, we put it - and them - to the test.
So, we took it to the streets with a stunt that turned heads and pulled muscles. We glued an outrageous mix of everyday (and not‑so‑everyday) objects, from a kayak to an old arcade machine to a 2.8‑metre marlin, onto a giant outdoor billboard. Then we threw open the challenge: if you can take it, it’s yours.
Crowds gave it their best shot. There were tugs, grunts, even a few group efforts, but nothing budged. Not one thing.
Directed by James Dive, the spectacle became a social hit, a playful reminder that Liquid Nails’ promise still holds strong: If it’s Selleys, it works.
The campaign rolled out across social, PR and influencer content, turning a simple truth about strength into something funny, shareable, and unmistakably Aussie.
